Terms of Use
Last updated: July 15, 2026
By using In My Stash you agree to these terms.
What In My Stash is
A personal budgeting tool that helps you decide whether to spend or save based on your own financial information. In My Stash is not a bank, is not a licensed financial advisor, and does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Decisions you make are your own.
No warranty
In My Stash is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the app is error-free or that its guidance fits your situation. Verify important numbers against your bank.
Your responsibilities
- Keep your device and any app lock/credentials secure.
- Bank connections are read-only; In My Stash cannot move money. You never enter your bank login into In My Stash — you authenticate directly with your bank through Plaid or SimpleFIN.
- You are responsible for maintaining your own encrypted backups if you enable them.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for financial decisions made using the app.
Changes
We may update these terms; continued use means acceptance. Material changes will be noted with a new "last updated" date.
